Aim & Scope

Fırat University Journal of Software and Informatics Research Institute is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to publishing high-quality scientific research in software, informatics, and related disciplines. The journal aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge by bringing together theoretical, methodological, and applied studies that address the rapidly evolving informatics ecosystem.

The primary objective of the journal is to provide a reliable academic platform for original and scientifically rigorous studies in areas such as software engineering, artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, quantum computing, and health informatics. In this context, the journal welcomes both fundamental research and applied studies addressing real-world problems.

The journal is an independent scholarly publication published online under a double-blind peer-review model. All submissions, except editorials, are evaluated by at least two expert reviewers in the relevant field. Final publication decisions are made by the editorial board on the basis of reviewer reports.

Submitted manuscripts must not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication elsewhere. All submissions are expected to meet international standards in originality, scientific contribution, and ethical compliance. The journal is committed to adhering fully to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and to maintaining high standards of publication ethics.

Interdisciplinary studies falling outside these areas may also be considered, provided that they are deemed relevant to the journal’s scope by the editorial board.

Language of Publication
The full-text publication language of the journal is English. Manuscript titles may be provided in both Turkish and English. Author names should be written in the Latin alphabet. Author affiliations must be provided in English. Keywords may be given in Turkish when a Turkish abstract is included, and in English. Abstracts may be provided in English and, optionally, in Turkish in extended form.
